An Enterprise-Level AX5400 WiFi 6 Access Point Powers Up Your Business

SHENZHEN, China – Nov. 25, 2021 – TP-Link® introduced a high-end business WiFi 6 access point—EAP670, AX5400 Ceiling Mount WiFi 6 Access Point. It is designed for enterprise environments that require ultra-high-performance WiFi. Expanding the TP-Link Omada business product line, this new access point enhances network setups for business. It provides upgrade options for prosumers in need of blazing-fast indoor WiFi connections.

"We are thrilled to be releasing the Omada EAP670. Our new products feature the latest in WiFi 6 and wireless networking advancements," said Pingji Li, GM of the International Business Group at TP-Link. "As the flagship product of our Omada SDN system, today's business environments will be able to enjoy a smoother WiFi experience."

    Blazing-Fast AX5400 WiFi 6 Speeds

Omada WiFi 6 brings faster speeds, less lag, lower interference, and higher capacity. Outfitted with the latest WiFi 6 technology, the EAP670 delivers WiFi speeds of up to 5,378 Mbps, boasting more than twice the speed of WiFi 5 access points of the same level. Unlike ordinary WiFi 6 APs that operate with a maximum of 80 MHz, this business WiFi access point operates at a maximum of 160 MHz, twice the data at peak transmission times on a single stream.*

WiFi 6 features such as OFDMA and MU-MIMO handle multiple clients across congested environments like typical office spaces, accommodation, hospitals, and campuses.

Optimized Wired Performance with 2.5 GE PoE+ Port

Armed with a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Port, the EAP670 delivers exceptional multi-gigabit performance to support the insatiable demand for better and faster WiFi.

Omada SDN Integration Guarantees Easy Management

The Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices, including access points, switches, and routers. Omada SDN provides a completely centralized cloud management system for your highly scalable network, controlled from a single interface. The Omada app lets you configure settings, monitor the network status, and manage clients, all from the convenience of a smartphone or tablet.

Auto Channel Selection and Power Adjustment**

Omada EAP670 has developed several techniques to eliminate interference between access points. It provides powerful wireless performance and significantly reduces WiFi interference by automatically adjusting channel settings and transmission power levels of neighboring APs.

Advanced Functions Make Sure the Hassle-Free Use

Omada Mesh technology wirelessly extends your WiFi signal further without the need for wires. Seamless Roaming ensures that users can remain connected to the same network while moving seamlessly between access points.***

    Easy and Flexible Installation

The EAP670 supports both standard 802.3at PoE+ and DC power supply. Ceiling and wall mounting kits provide flexible installation options.

*Use of WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and its features, including OFDMA, HE160, and 1024-QAM, require clients to support the corresponding features. The 160 MHz bandwidth is only available on the 5 GHz band. It may be unavailable in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. The double channel width refers to 160 MHz compared to 80 MHz for general WiFi 6 APs.
